PPR Group, the French multinational parent behind luxury and sportswear labels like Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney, and Puma, has announced a five-year plan to reduce its environmental and social footprint. 

By leveraging the results of PPR’s Environmental Profit & Loss Account, an ongoing initiative to measure the combined ecological impact of its subsidiaries, the multi-tiered action plan will focus on the reduction of carbon-dioxide emissions, waste, and water; sourcing of raw materials; hazardous chemicals and materials; and paper and packaging.

La Exposición explora la relación entre funcionalidad, moda y trabajo con una serie de retratos y prendas de distintos diseñadores como Vivianne Westwood, Jean Paul Gaultier, Jeroen van Tuyl y Walter van Beirendonck entre otros.

Eiffel Tower goes Green


Que mejor noticia para iniciar el año que el proyecto de convertir a la Torre Eiffel en un símbolo verde de ecología a nivel mundial.

Pensado para este año nuevo 2012la compañía francesa Ginger, de planificación urbana, plantea cubrir la Torre Eiffel con 600 000 plantas como simbolo de reconcialación de la naturaleza y la humanidad, además de que representaría el compromiso de Francia con un futuro sostenible.
