Bottega Veneta Goes Green

Para Bottega Veneta Green is the New Black!

For Bottega Veneta Green is the new Black! The luxury brand just received the "Carbon Neutral 2010" certification for its Milan headquarters and was recognized for its work by Bureau Veritas, an independent risk analysis organization.

The Italian brand’s detailed study of its greenhouse gas emissions within the inside and the outside of the building revealed an unsurprising spike during fashion weeks and sales campaigns; this was balanced by buying carbon credits from a program of forest protection in line with the PPR Group sustainable initiatives.

Marco Bizzarri, president and chief executive officer of Bottega Veneta, stated that the certification is a really important achievement for the brand and it  encourages them to keep working on improvement actions to reduce the impact of their operations.
